Self-Care for Professional
This self-care workshop for professionals has been designed for anyone in the care professions: mental, legal, law enforcement, clergy, teachers and other people. This workshop is intended to help recognize, address and recognize ways to recover from compassion fatigue and to continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Understand the treatment and prevention of compassionate fatigue, burnout, secondary trauma stress and caregiver stress.
Understand personal and professional stress.
Learn skills to deal with anxiety and self-regulation in work situations and daily coping.
Develop the understanding and skills necessary to prevent the symptoms of compassion fatigue that include learning to stay fully present in your experience, no matter how difficult.
Develop a personal self-care plan, including healthy lifestyles and mindfulness techniques.
